Agreement and eligibility

These Terms and Conditions govern access to Forvention, a product operated by Forward Edge Consulting Ltd. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Forvention for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. Individual learners must be legally capable of entering this agreement or use the service through an authorized organization.

Accounts and organization administration

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials and organization codes confidential, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you notify us of suspected unauthorized access without undue delay.

Organization administrators control invitations, departments, assignments, deadlines, seats, and access to learner reports. They must have an appropriate legal basis and authorization to submit employee information and must use learner insights fairly and lawfully.

The service

Forvention provides cybersecurity learning content, assessments, progress records, certificates, badges, compliance indicators, and administrative reporting. Features may vary by plan, country, account type, role, or service configuration.

Training and risk indicators support awareness and decision-making but do not guarantee that an organization or individual is secure, legally compliant, or protected from an incident. They are not legal, audit, insurance, or professional security advice.

Trials, subscriptions, seats, and payment

Trial limits, included seats, duration, and available features are shown during signup or in the product. A trial may end or become restricted when its stated period expires. Continued access to paid features requires an active subscription or contract.

Prices, billing intervals, taxes, renewal dates, seat changes, and cancellation options are shown at purchase or set out in an order form. Unless an order form states otherwise, subscription charges are due in advance and refunds are provided only where required by law or expressly agreed. Third-party payment providers may apply their own terms.

Acceptable use

You must not use Forvention to:

• Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or process information without authority.
• Upload malicious code, harmful content, unlawful material, or content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, access controls, rate limits, or platform security.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service except as expressly permitted in writing.
• Misrepresent training results, impersonate another person, share accounts, or use risk scores as the sole basis for a materially adverse decision.

Content and intellectual property

Forvention, its training materials, software, designs, trademarks, and related intellectual property belong to Forward Edge Consulting Ltd or its licensors. Subject to these terms and an active account, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your organization’s internal learning and compliance activities.

You retain ownership of content and information you lawfully submit. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, display, secure, back up, and transmit that material to provide and support the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to submit it.

Privacy and confidentiality

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Each party must protect the other party’s non-public confidential information and use it only for the service relationship, except where disclosure is authorized or legally required.

Availability, changes, and third-party services

We work to keep Forvention reliable and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, internet conditions, and third-party infrastructure may affect availability. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice where a material change adversely affects an active paid service.

Integrations and third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party products outside our control.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, a material breach, or harm to the service or others. Either party may terminate as permitted by the applicable plan, order form, or law. On termination, access may end and information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy, customer instructions, and legal retention duties.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties that cannot reasonably apply to a hosted training platform, but nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law. Any contractual liability cap or additional remedy agreed in an order form takes precedence over this paragraph. Nothing limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law, disputes, and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before filing a claim, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue by contacting one another. Subject to any mandatory consumer right or agreed dispute process, Nigerian courts have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms to reflect service, commercial, security, or legal changes. We will publish the revised terms and update the effective date. Where required, we will give additional notice or request renewed acceptance. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
